& Visa Information
If
you find it interesting and possible to visit Russia and to join the international
conference “Information for All UNESCO Programme: Universal Access to Information” in
June 23-25, 2004, please register on-line here.
The
information required well in advance for the Russian visa:
1.
Your name, date & place of birth
2. A digital copy of your passport (first 2 pages with photo) 13x18 sm
3. The country and the city where you will go to obtain your visa in the Russian consulate
4. Place of work, position, address, tel., fax
5. Dates of your visit to Russia
6. What cities of Russia are you going to visit?
Please,
check your passport expire date! It should be at least 6 months after the visit.
The
Organisation Committee will apply to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for your
visa. If the decision is positive the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send a
personal invitation to the Russian consulate in your country. You should go to the Russian
consulate in your country for your visa only after the confirmation from the conference
organisers. Please check in the Russian consulate what other documents will be needed to
obtain the Russian visa, the rules are different for different countries.
