COMPUTER GEOMULTIMEDIA OF THE NATURE OF AZERBAIJAN

At present the devolepment of computer technology in the field of geography allowed to create videofilms on conditions of nature, which give visual understanding about the evolutionary development and changes of components of environment under the influence of anthropogenic and natural factors. Computer multimedia gives possibility for visual and wordy description of each element of environment with sound effects under the dictation of tutor of nature. This invaluable technology accelerates the identification of casual changes of inside of geosystem and improves the development of true emergent peculiarities of natural system.

Taking into account of the needs of general educational establishments we worked out a compact disk (CD) of natural ecological conditions of the nature of Azerbaijan.

The method used for this purpose bases on new information technology in geography. So, our task consisted of the following stages:

-Creation of databases of sound effects of natural processes accompanied by narration of the tutor of nature;

-Creation of animation files of nature processes and phenomena accompanied by cartographic and photographic materials;

-Creation of text files on geographical objects;

-Creation of graphic program of cover, systems presentation of sound, text, maps, photos and video fragments;

-For realization of above mentioned stages, creation of multimedia compact disk concerned to the nature of Azerbaijan were mainly used the following program languages and editors: COOL EDIT PRO, SOUND FORCE, PHOTO SHOP, ADOBE AFTER EFFECT, 3D MAESTRO, MAPINFO-5, IDRISI, etc.

-The materials for creation of computer geographical multimedia were gathered from the archives of the Institute of Gegraphy of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (materials of academician N.A.Aliyev and academician B.A.Budagov), faculty of geography of the Baku State University (materials of professor M.A.Museyibov). Files of multimedia were loaded to the laser disk and videocassette, duration 2.5 hours, in the Azerbaijan and Russian languages.
